Job summary

JGM is seeking experienced Machine Operators for its Coatesville steel fabrication shop. The role involves setting up and running production equipment such as CNC machines, press brakes, and saws to fabricate steel components to specification.

Applicants should have 2+ years of related experience, be comfortable in a non-climate-controlled environment, and able to read blueprints. OSHA-10 or willingness to obtain is required. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with press brakes, industrial saws, fabrication, or other production equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and production specs.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred or willing to obtain during onboarding.
• Reliable attendance in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to fabricate steel components to spec.
• Inspect parts against drawings and tolerances throughout the run.
• Load, unload, and stage raw steel and finished components safely.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Maintain production logs, quality checks, and downtime/scrap tracking.
• Work closely with teammates and shop leads to keep the line running smoothly.
