Job summary

Race Winning Brands is seeking a warehouse/production oriented associate in Ohio. Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, setting up machines, selecting parts from inventory and recording movements in the ERP system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in manufacturing, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Physical duties include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and properly.

• Use small hand tools.
• Inspect parts against blueprints.
• Follow detailed procedures.
• Record movements in ERP system for WIP or other locations.
• Stock components for storage.
• Operate lift trucks and other moving devices; tow motor experience is a plus.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Description

Race Winning Brands (RWB) is the leading manufacturer of racing and high-performance parts sold to automotive and powersports markets. RWB is the preferred source for high-end pistons, engine blocks, cylinder heads, intake manifolds, connecting rods, crankshafts, clutches, transmissions, springs and other engine and driveline- related performance components.

The schedule includes a change for summer hours: June through September is four, ten-hour shifts; October through May, the schedule is five, eight-hour shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate equipment properly and safely.
• Sets up and operates machine to bend metal pipes, and tubes to angle or contour specified by work order, drawings, templates, or layouts.
• Pull parts, materials and the like from inventory based on picklist.
• Use of small hand tools.
• Inspect part conformant based on blueprints.
• Follow detailed procedures.
• Perform transactions in the ERP system to signify that items have been moved from their storage spot onto the job order (WIP) or other location.
• Stock components that have been made and are ready for storage.
• Operates lift trucks and other moving devices used in a warehouse; tow motor experience is a plus.
• Cleans/organizes/straightens areas as defined by Lead or supervisor which may include removing trash, scrap bins, skids, boxes and/or other items that result from a factory environment.
• Performs additional duties and assignments as requested.

• Required to visually identify defects in incoming materials as well as use inspection tools and equipment.
