Machine Operator - Level 2 - 2nd shift (Finance)

As a Machine Operator Level 2 at Honeywell, you will operate and maintain various machines in our manufacturing facility in Pottsville, PA, playing a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality products.

Your responsibilities include operating and monitoring machines, conducting quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Work an 8-hour shift, with some Saturdays (12-hour shifts: 12pm-12am and 4pm-4am; 2 Saturdays off per month)
• Operate extrusion lines/machines, including training on extruders, pelletizers, and recycle machines
• Pack and ship orders
• Operate forklift and other mobile equipment
• Use hand tools and measuring instruments
• Work in a team-based, Six Sigma environment to achieve results
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
• Lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs
• Stand for up to 7 hours per shift
• Work a set shift with rotating days off

US Person Requirements

Due to US export control laws, candidates must be US citizens, permanent residents, or have protected status.

Future Opportunities

This role is dedicated to Honeywell’s Advanced Materials business, which will become a standalone company in October 2024. The role is expected to transition accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift and extrusion experience
• Proficiency with SAP and Optivisio
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
