Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is the cutting, bending, fabricating, and folding of sheet metal to create components used to assemble the finished product, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate laser, press brake/turret machine, and other tools safely and accurately according to blueprints.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, ensuring equipment is set up and used safely with safety devices in place.
• Operate forklift if certified and required.
• Perform inspections before, during, and after production to meet CDI standards.
• Monitor equipment functionality and request maintenance as needed.
• Perform basic and preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience with metal fabrication tools
• Must be 18 or older
• Attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to safely use measuring and power tools
• Willingness to cross-train in other departments
• Pre-employment drug test willingness
• Proficiency in English
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally
