Job summary

The Marco Group in Austin, TX seeks a production operator to assist in operating various machinery to produce products per specs. A degree of skill, technique and mechanical knowledge is required; may be assigned to different machines as production needs change. Shifts run M-F 6:00am–2:30pm, 2:00pm–10:30pm, or 10:00pm–6:30am.

Pay ranges from $14.00 to $16.50 per hour, DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid holidays and generous PTO, plus opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Basic comfort with mechanical applications to operate machines.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and perform simple calculations.
• Ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining good relations with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto or into machine by hand or with equipment.
• Move products, tools, and hoses to operate machines.
• Inspect material during production and report defects.
• Maintain coating station: mix level, pump pressure, rod speed, replace bags.
