Job Description

The Leveler Operator Assistant supports and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, striving to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility. Responsibilities include setting up and operating automatic leveling, sheeting, and console-operated equipment to level, cut, and stack flat sheets of various gauges to meet customer requirements. Work is based on customer orders, engineered layouts, and general instructions.

Pay Range:

$21.82 - $24.77/hr

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience with leveler machines.
• Prior steel industry experience and product knowledge preferred.
• Operational knowledge of crane operation, forklift operation, and ancillary lifting devices.
• Production operation experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on 3rd shift, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am, Sunday through Thursday.
