Job description

Position: Inspector Packer I

Location: Forest City, NC

Rate: $19.27/hr + $0.44 shift differential

Shift: 3rd shift (11pm-7am)

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect and package finished goods, identifying safety concerns and visual/physical defects before packaging.
  • Maintain production data, including scrap cause records and work order details.
  • Perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, and bending.
  • Alert technicians to quality or machine issues.
  • Use manual pallet jacks to move materials as needed.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating self-motivation and multi-tasking skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow good housekeeping procedures.
  • Prioritize safety and quality in all duties.
  • Be reliable, proactive, committed, and detail-oriented.
  • Work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Be flexible to cover overtime and weekend shifts when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent attendance record.
