Novolex in Baxter Springs, KS is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant to join our production team. This on-site role supports high-speed printing operations, following safety and quality programs to help achieve site goals.

The position involves reading production orders, preparing components, assisting with setup, and performing daily paperwork while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience in a manufacturing environment
• Commitment to accident-free and drug-free workplace
• Quality-conscious with high energy and strong work ethic
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist and function as back-up to Machine Operator to produce quality product at target machine speeds using safe work practices
• Read & understand Production Order Packet (POP); prepare all machine components for production
• Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork
• Follow procedures to requisition or return components and materials, inspect components and materials, install components and materials
• Assist with setup and/or change over activities within allotted time
• Participate in preventative maintenance activities as assigned
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Actively engage in safety programs
• Communicate effectively with team members across shifts
• Assist and train other team members as needed

Machine Operator Assistant

Baxter Springs, KS

Compensation Includes

• Starting Pay Rate of $17.43/hour

Available Shifts

• 7pm - 7am, Sunday - Tuesday & every other Saturday

Overview

Produce product using high-speed printing equipment in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high-speed process
