Position Title: Machine Operator Assistant

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm; 2:00pm-10:00pm; 10:00pm-6:00am

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator Assistant for a company in Franksville, WI. This is a position on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with the opportunity for hire.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Set up rails, print stations, folding, gluing, and/or die-cut sections on the equipment.
2. Inspect all tooling before and after runs to ensure repairs are made if necessary.
3. Inspect anilox rolls for damage before and after each run.
4. Monitor and check quality in accordance with shop standards.
5. Operate machines properly to run efficiently and produce quality products.
6. Separate corrugated onto pallets.

Requirements:

1. Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
2. Ability to bend and twist.
3. Ability to push up to 50 lbs.
4. Occasional lifting of 30 to 50 lbs.
5. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
6. Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
7. At least 6 months of experience as an operator assistant.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
