Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant – Excursion
Shift Options:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, $20.00/hr
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, $21.50/hr
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation (12-hour shifts)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Machine Operator Assistant for an excursion role at a manufacturing facility in Auburn. This position requires assisting machine operators in maintaining production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and supporting overall operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
Monitor production output and ensure quality standards are met.
Make necessary corrections and notify the operator if non-conforming material is produced.
Ensure raw materials have been approved for use.
Perform substrate basis weight and appearance sample testing, documentation, and retention.
Document raw material usage, defects, and the chronology of production.
Ensure proper packaging and labeling of any unused raw material returns.
Responsible for the setup of resin blenders.
Monitor and control the process and production when the operator is absent.
Verify that in-line and bench-top measuring and test instruments are calibrated through the calibration records and/or verification control charts before use.
Set up and clean up the machine.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Must pass a ruler test (demonstrating measurement accuracy).
No more than one month gap in employment history.
No more than three jobs in the last five years.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
