Job summary

LSI ADL is seeking an energetic and outgoing individual to join our Surface Mount team as a Machine Operator in Columbus, OH. The role involves operating and maintaining an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine to inspect printed circuit boards and ensure quality as per IPC standards and customer documentation.

The position requires logging and verifying documentation, handling serial numbers, and tagging defective assemblies for repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operation of surface mount machine for inspection of printed circuit boards using IPC standards and customer documentation to assure quality standards and meet customer demands.
• Verify accuracy of documentation per work orders, machine programming, and customer specifications.
• Document and log serial numbers and pass/fail assemblies.
• Tag failed assemblies for repair.
• Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and follow prescribed regulations.
• Represent LSI Industries in the most positive manner with prospective, current and former employees, clients, suppliers, and the community we serve.
• Interact professionally and effectively with a diverse group of employees and customers.
• Learn and practice standard operating procedures.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance based on the work hours established by management.
• Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
• Other duties as assigned.
