This role focuses on operating forklifts and machinery in a plumbing supply warehouse to safely move, cut, and prepare pipe and related materials for customer orders. You handle both indoor and outdoor material movement, operate cutting and threading equipment, and support general labor tasks to keep the warehouse and stock yard running smoothly.
You join a hands-on, operations-focused environment where your skills with forklifts and machinery directly support customers and day-to-day warehouse success. The role offers consistent, practical work with clear responsibilities and the opportunity to develop and refine material handling and machine operation skills. You work as part of a small, collaborative team that values reliability, safety, and efficient workflows.
The position is based in a plumbing supply warehouse and adjoining stock yard that is non-climate controlled and open air, which can be very hot during the summer. Inside the warehouse, you work among shelves stocked with lighter pipe, fittings, valves, and various materials, while outside you handle heavier pipe stored in the yard. A small area in the back corner of the warehouse is dedicated to pipe cutting and threading for customer orders, where you operate equipment such as a CNC plasma cutter and threading machines. The environment is industrial and physically demanding, with regular movement between indoor and outdoor areas and a practical, work-focused atmosphere.
