Area of Accountability:

Operate various types of machinery including but not limited to presses, robotic weld cells, lathes. Follow strict safety guidelines for operating mechanical or computer-operated equipment. Work in a team environment with other operators. Requires cross training in machine operator rotations.

Summary Of Job Responsibilities

Area of Accountability:

Operate various types of machinery including but not limited to presses, robotic weld cells, lathes. Follow strict safety guidelines for operating mechanical or computer-operated equipment. Work in a team environment with other operators. Requires cross training in machine operator rotations.

Major Responsibilities

• Operating equipment in the axle, beam, suspension weld, or finisher areas.
• Ability to perform quality checks using various tools, gauges, and processes to ensure product is within tolerance.
• Proper paperwork/reports are to be completed to document build per work order specifications.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to learn and physically rotate to all required job stations and job tasks in assigned work area with-in the rotation timetable that has been or will be established for that area.
• Prefer prior CNC Machine operator or press experience.
• Ability to use all Personal Protective Equipment that is issued by Hendrickson.
• Strong Mathematical skill a must.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a continuously improving environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a diverse production environment.
• Ability to work overtime, as production demands require
• Team Skills a must
• Ability to pay close attention to minor details resulting in the production of a superior quality product.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
