Job summary

kdc/one Columbus is hiring a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (Monday–Friday). You’ll keep production lines running, perform basic adjustments, changeovers, and monitor quality in a fast-paced beauty products environment.

No prior lead experience required; you will train and potentially advance to Line Lead, with opportunities for long-term growth and benefits. Must be mechanically inclined with good data-entry skills and GMP awareness.

Qualifications

• Operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Perform changeovers, clean-outs, and rinses between runs.
• Enter product details and maintain simple records in the system.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment care.
• Monitor batches for quality and correct labeling.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment running smoothly with basic adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Perform clean-outs, changeovers, and rinses between production runs.
• Enter product details and complete basic records in our system.
• Work with maintenance on preventative tasks and equipment care.
• Monitor batches for quality, correct labeling, and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support and train teammates; step in for the Line Lead when needed.
