O'Neal Steel has openings for a Machine Operator (3rd Shift) at our Greensboro, NC facility.

The Machine Operator sets up and operates production machines according to established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.

Job Requirements

• Operate various processing equipment such as saws, shears, press brakes, rollers, plasma, laser, etc.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, stacker cranes, side loaders, yard dogs, etc.
• Read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Use measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Provide high-quality work to internal and external customers.

Work Schedule: Must be able to work 3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am. Overtime may be required.

Additional requirements include passing a criminal background check and drug test upon employment offer.
