Job summary

Motus Integrated Technologies in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (9:45 pm – 6:15 am, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays). This entry-level or experienced role includes a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package after 60 days.

The successful candidate will follow procedures, use hand tools, and maintain 5S and PPE compliance while supporting continuous improvement and quality control on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must stand for 8 hours; may lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures and document as required.
• Operate and adjust production equipment with supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per 5S and PPE rules.
• Monitor quality and environmental safety on the shop floor.
• Assist maintenance and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform daily first piece and process inspections.

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Work Location: Spartanburg Facility - Spartanburg, SC

We have an exciting opportunity at our Spartanburg facility for entry-level or experiencedProduction Team Memberwho is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must follow all procedures and documentation requirements as dictated
• Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand tools
• Expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all 5S and PPE requirements
• Visually monitor housekeeping and plant organization
• Monitor and address safety & environmental concerns on the shop floor as well as monitor quality issues toward our goal of zero defects
• Will be trained to operate and make adjustments to the operation process
• Works safely and directs others in safe work practices
• Quickly identifies equipment issues and involve support such as the Maintenance Team when the problem warrants
• Directs and monitors execution of the production schedule
• Will be trained to inspect the parts and perform process trouble shooting
• Be active in the Continuous Improvement suggestion program
• Utilizes the escalation process when necessary
• Perform daily first piece and process inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist supervisor or management as directed
• Maintain and ensure compliance with Motus Quality Management System
• Maintain and ensure Customer Specifications are met

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous working experience in a manufacturing production facility preferred
• Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day). Employees will occasionally lift a maximum of 30 lbs.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
