Motus Integrated Technologies in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Production Team Member/Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. The role offers a competitive starting wage with potential bonuses, opportunities for advancement, and benefits after 60 days.

Typical hours are 1:45 pm - 10:15 pm, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays. This is a direct-hire position reporting to the Production Supervisor at the Spartanburg facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing production facility experience preferred.
• Stand for 8 hours; max 30 lb lift on occasion.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures and documentation requirements.
• Use hand tools; mechanical aptitude.
• Maintain clean and safe work area per 5S and PPE.
• Monitor housekeeping and plant organization; address safety and quality issues.
• Be trained to operate and adjust the operation process.
• Direct and monitor production schedule execution.
• Inspect parts and perform process troubleshooting.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement program.
• Maintain compliance with Motus Quality Management System.

DIRECT HIRE, 8 hour shifts

Reports to: Production Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must follow all procedures and documentation requirements as dictated
• Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand tools
• Expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all 5S and PPE requirements
• Visually monitor housekeeping and plant organization
• Monitor and address safety & environmental concerns on the shop floor as well as monitor quality issues toward our goal of zero defects
• Will be trained to operate and make adjustments to the operation process
• Works safely and directs others in safe work practices
• Quickly identifies equipment issues and involve support such as the Maintenance Team when the problem warrants
• Directs and monitors execution of the production schedule
• Will be trained to inspect the parts and perform process trouble shooting
• Be active in the Continuous Improvement suggestion program
• Utilizes the escalation process when necessary
• Perform daily first piece and process inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist supervisor or management as directed
• Maintain and ensure compliance with Motus Quality Management System
• Maintain and ensure Customer Specifications are met

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous working experience in a manufacturing production facility preferred
• Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day). Employees will occasionally lift a maximum of 30 lbs.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
