Pay Rate: $22.34 to $25.84 (plus $1.00/hour shift premium)

Role: Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

You will perform tasks in transformer production, including:

  • Reading and understanding Bills of Materials, instructions, and drawings.
  • Operating machinery that makes coils for transformers.
  • Using a brazing torch to splice wire.
  • Meeting quality requirements of manufacturing procedures.

Requirements:

Basic:

  • Ability to work night shift.
  • Willing to work limited overtime as needed.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics and computations.
  • Reside or plan to reside within a reasonable commute to Washington, Missouri.
  • Must pass interview, talent assessment, background check, and drug screen.
  • This position is safety-sensitive; WTU will test for THC.
  • Have current work authorization within the U.S.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
