Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations on the production floor. The role involves operating cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to pull, inspect, and prepare items per work orders.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, recording measurements, communicating changes to orders, performing maintenance, tagging materials, and assisting in packaging. The position emphasizes safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per work order specifications.
• Process setup notes and verify against work instructions.
• Record measurements and document sampling as required.
• Communicate changes to orders with appropriate sales representatives.
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance and general clean-up.
• Enter/delete material identification tags as required.
• Assist in packaging and leverage measurement equipment on site.
• Identify non-conforming material and document scrap.
• Provide feedback on machine efficiency and quality to supervision.
• Train others when required and participate in lean/quality activities.

Job SummaryApply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all required information entry accurately.
