Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our overnight production team. You will safely operate machinery, monitor quality, and support continuous production in a manufacturing environment.

This 3rd shift runs Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a pay rate of $19.51 per hour. Previous machine operating experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator experience is required.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in environments with temperatures ranging from 40°F to 85°F.
• Able to stand and remain physically active for up to 10–13 hours per shift.
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including continuous standing and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all safety rules and PPE.
• Comply with OSHA and facility safety standards.
• Follow GMPs, including maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Set up, change over, adjust, repair, and operate machinery and equipment.
• Ensure equipment is in proper operating condition and ready for on-time startup.
• Make necessary adjustments to keep production flowing.
• Perform process control checks and quality checks throughout the shift.
• Operate date coders and verify accurate code dates on cases and products.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment according to GMP and safety guidelines.
• Clean all equipment using approved sanitation practices.
• Assist Quality Assurance with obtaining product samples and other related tasks.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
