Job summary

The Toro Company’s BOSS Snowplow division in Iron Mountain, MI is hiring a Machine Operator, 2nd Shift. You will operate metal fabrication equipment, read blueprints, perform inspections, and maintain equipment. Starting wage is $18.97 with a 5% shift differential bringing the rate to $19.92 per hour.

Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:00pm, with potential overtime. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read blueprints. Experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Able to use measuring tools and devices.
• Vocational training or prior machine operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate shear, saw, laser cut, plasma cut, bend, roll, drill, tap, punch, cope, wire brush, deburr, and grind steel and copper components.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and keep machines clean.
• Conduct first article and part inspections per the quality system.
