Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 2nd Shift. Located in Worcester, MA, we focus on the Electrical Sector, including Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure for segments such as Utilities, Hospitals, Data Centers, and Commercial Institutions. The role offers a full-time 40-hour work week, Medical Benefits, 401K, vacation, and opportunities for upward mobility. The schedule is 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The hourly rate ranges from $20.00 to $22.50, depending on skills and experience. Salaries are guidelines and based on candidate qualifications, market, and business considerations.

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate machinery such as mechanical or hydraulic brakes, presses, shears, turret punch presses, grinders, and spot welders to fabricate components meeting customer demands. Maintain records, perform inspections, monitor equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

• Determine tooling and program requirements for production.
• Operate equipment to produce parts.
• Interpret work orders and drawings.
• Maintain tools and materials for continuous operation.
• Inspect final components for quality.
• Perform equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Follow environmental, health, safety rules, and PPE requirements.
• Support team goals and participate in continuous improvement.
• Promote Eaton’s values and teamwork.
• Understand Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS).

Qualifications

Basic (Required):

• High School diploma or GED.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• At least six months of manufacturing experience.
• Reside within a 50-mile radius of Worcester, MA.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and engineering documents.

Preferred:

• Experience with Eaton systems like DMM and AS-400.
• Blueprint reading and manufacturing diagram skills.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience.
