Job summary

PJ Trailers is seeking a Machine Operator to handle the CNC machine, cut and shape parts from raw materials, and follow established SOPs to meet quality and production goals.

You will operate the CNC equipment safely, perform routine maintenance, and support fabrication operations as part of daily duties at our Sumner, Texas facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent or 1 month of related experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, set, and adjust the CNC machine.
• Operate the machine in a safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machinery.
• Perform quality checks on produced parts.
• Support fabrication operations as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Intermittent bending, lifting, stooping, reaching, walking, and squatting
• Standing for long periods of time
• Noise levels at or above 85 decibels
• Expose to weather conditions
