Job summary

Reading Truck in Reading, PA is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00-10:00 PM). You will operate brake, laser, and press equipment to shape materials, and perform setup, inspection, and reporting of defects.

The role offers a new 90-day pay increase and a $3 shift differential, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities across our North American network.

How You Will Make an Impact

Our Machine Operators will operate Brake, Laser, Presses. Operates machine requiring a high grade of skill to change the shape or condition of new materials. Maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Perform set up of machine as required
• Communicate with co-workers regarding runs and inspect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
• Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: drilling, tapping, and sanding, must be able to operate a press break and punch.
