Job summary

Reading Truck is hiring machine operators to run brake, laser and press machines, handling setups and ensuring quality across production runs. The role requires basic math and tape measurement skills, plus prior machine operation experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, communicating run status with teammates, and inspecting materials for defects. Training and development are available as part of a comprehensive rewards package.

• Operate Brake, Laser and Presses.
• Maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
• Perform machine setup as required.
• Communicate with coworkers regarding runs and inspect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Able to drill, tap and sand; operate a press brake and punch.
