Job Summary

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Fabrication Manufacturing Operations, operates equipment such as fin press, expander press, hairpin tubing press, or performs leak tests, rework, or assembly operations. Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines in a continuous production environment. Monitors gauges, meters, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and controls to ensure compliance with specifications. Reports malfunctions, makes minor repairs, and ensures safety by using protective gear.

Job Responsibilities
  • Layouts work stock from blueprints or templates.
  • Plans sequence of operations, considering physical properties of metals.
  • Works well with others with minimal supervision.
  • Sets up and operates various machines.
  • Ensures a safe work environment and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Wears protective gear as required.

  • Maintains organizational culture aligned with mission, vision, and core attributes.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic sheet metal knowledge.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Stands for long periods on concrete.
  • Attention to quality and detail.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Results-oriented with team motivation skills.
  • Experience with lean principles in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Works well under stress, dependable, and trustworthy.
Job Qualifications
