Work Shift: 8hr-2nd Shift (United States of America)

Location Address: 300 Dewey Street, Argos, Indiana 46501

The Machine Operator will operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. The Machine Operator must also follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies
• Be punctual and adhere to the work schedule
• Work effectively with others, demonstrating a One Team Cross Functional attitude
• Participate in continuous improvement processes to drive change within the plant
• Adhere to company General Manufacturing Policies
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, laws, and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with preventive maintenance and mechanical adjustments
• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to produce quality bottles
• Follow quality control procedures and troubleshoot process issues
• Perform bottle inspections and quality checks
• Adjust machinery to meet product specifications
• Perform minor repairs on equipment and escalate issues as needed
• Monitor and replenish packaging materials
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging according to customer requirements
• Move finished goods to designated areas
• Document daily production reports and equipment repairs
• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Basic mathematical skills and computer experience
• Experience with blow molding preferred
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire

Physical Demands:

Must frequently stand, walk, use hands, reach, and occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

Exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud noises, and temperature fluctuations. PPE is required in production areas.
