ABR Employment Services is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for our Wood Department in Greenville, WI. This temp-to-hire role features a 4-day workweek with long weekends and hands-on skill development, including forklift certification, in a production setting.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and the ability to operate various production equipment while maintaining quality reports and following supervisor directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or HSED (or equivalent experience).
• Basic math skills, including decimals and reading measurements.
• Experience using calipers or similar measuring instruments preferred.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Willingness to become forklift certified if needed.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Strong attendance, dependability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Operate a variety of production equipment.
• Inspect product quality using measuring tools such as calipers and rulers.
• Accurately complete written production reports.
• Sort boards in the end board sorting area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Report production activities and issues to the supervisor.

Machine Operator – Wood Department (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Greenville, WI
Pay: $18.60/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (3-day weekends!)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Wood Department. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and the potential for long-term placement. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
• Operate a variety of production equipment
