What Does a Machine Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment.

Job details:

Schedule: 3pm - 1:30am (Mon - Fri, OT and weekends as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed during the production shift
• Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available and ready for use
• Visually inspect production run and document results, confirming product quality throughout production
• Report malfunctions to supervisor or manager, especially safety hazards and product defects
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area to ensure safety and performance standards
• Attend meetings and assist with special projects and events

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent required
• Forklift Certification within 30 days of hire
• Ability to learn and operate assigned production equipment
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to perform essential functions with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Base pay range is $21 to $26.68 plus bonus, depending on location, experience, skills, and abilities.
