Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Production Worker to assemble plastics IBC totes and steel cages following established procedures. You will support daily operations, handle changeovers, and assist in packaging for internal and external use, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Must understand and complete required safety training.
• Able to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Team-oriented; works well with others.
• Able to stand 8–12 hours per shift and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.

• Maintain clean, orderly workspaces.
• Report production waste to supervisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Production Worker is under the direction of the shift supervisor and will primarily be responsible for assembly of plastics intermediate bulk container (IBC) totes & steel cages manufactured using established production procedures, following safety protocol and adhering to company's quality standards. Support plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Secondary responsible for assisting in packaging of product of internal and external use and assisting in changeover with other production teammates.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Reports all production waste to Production Lead or Supervisor
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
• Responsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
• Follows all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in team environment
• Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Pay and Schedule

The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Employee's base schedule is: Monday to Friday 2:50pm to 11pm
