Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Production Worker to assemble plastics intermediate bulk container (IBC) totes and steel cages, while supporting daily production, changeovers, and outbound shipments. The role also involves packaging for internal and external use and assisting teammates during changeovers.

The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Schedule is Monday–Friday with Saturdays as needed, 11pm–7am.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.
• Meets production standards within required time.
• Maintains clean work areas in assigned space.
• Reports production waste to Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production.
• Notifies a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Employee’s base schedule is: Monday to Friday, Saturday's as needed. 11pm to 7am

Responsibilities

• Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Reports all production waste to Production Lead or Supervisor
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
• Responsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
• Follows all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in team environment
• Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
