Job Description Summary

AAM is hiring Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shift openings! Pay starts at $18.90, with a $1,000 sign on bonus and increases with experience.

Job Description

  • Responsible for operating one or more types of production equipment.
  • Selects appropriate settings. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications.
  • Loads & unloads material to and from equipment according to prescribed methods.
  • Inspects parts using precision measuring tools and for visual defects and/or certification marks.
  • Clean machines & work area throughout and at end of shift.
  • Follows all safe work practices & safety rules.
  • Follows established quality standards.
  • Works collaboratively with team members and others to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems.
  • Ability to use computer terminals; gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Overtime available for those looking to earn more!
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, quality documents, set-up and work instructions documents.
