Job summary

GuidePost Staffing LLC is seeking dependable Machine Operators for our manufacturing team in New York. No extensive machine operating experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. You will safely run production equipment, follow safety/quality procedures, and help meet daily production goals.

We offer two shifts: 1st shift 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2nd shift 2:15 PM – 10:15 PM, with overtime as needed. Training will be provided to support a smooth start and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned production machinery and equipment
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Load raw materials or parts into machines
• Monitor machines during production
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished products for quality
• Identify obvious defects or production issues
• Properly label finished products
• Maintain basic production and quality records
• Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized
• Return tools and equipment to designated locations
• Communicate machine, safety, or quality concerns to a supervisor
• Work closely with other team members to meet production goals
• Follow production schedules and adapt to changes when necessary
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned
• Work overtime when required
