Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Operator 2 for the 3rd shift to operate and maintain chord mill machinery in a fast-paced environment. Sunday PM–Friday AM shifts run 10:00pm–6:00am with overtime as needed.

Pay is $26.08/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Training and growth opportunities are available. You will work with team members to ensure materials are cut, punched, bent, welded, or shaped to exact

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and able to produce quality work.
• Experience operating machinery is preferred but not required.
• Safety-conscious with a focus on clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate and shape materials using designated machines to meet specifications.
• Set up machines and verify settings from drawings or blueprints.
• Lift and position materials safely using cranes or forklifts when required.
• Perform inspections with measuring tools to ensure quality at all stages.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain 5-S standards.
