Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Machine Operator 2 to support our Big Red sealer line. The role involves setting up and running the sealer, loading materials, weighing, and maintaining production pace within safety guidelines.

You will work with a small team to identify and resolve equipment issues, ensure quality, and complete daily production records. Prior machine operation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Big Red sealer.
• May use computer to load printer software.
• Set up and verify weigh scale.
• Load/unload sealing equipment with product and packaging material.
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment; make adjustments as required.
• Inspect and verify product according to quality standards.
• Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment.
• Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation.
• Break down scrap packages.
• Able to work effectively within small teams.
• Accurately complete scrap tickets.
• Accurately complete daily production sheet.
• Accurately update hourly goal board.
• Maintain production pace and standards.
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• Practice 5Ss
