Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Machine Operator II to run filler, sealer and end-of-line equipment, ensuring safe, quality production and adherence to GMP/HACCP.

You will train teammates, complete line paperwork, perform pre- and post-run inspections, and help troubleshoot equipment while maintaining a clean, compliant line.

Qualifications

• Trained in HACCP and understands CCPs on the line.
• Follow GMP principles at all times and maintain sanitation.
• Flexibility with schedule and willingness to train others.
• Proficient in operating multiple packaging lines under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery and ensure product quality and correct packaging.
• Perform line checks, log data, and report any issues to foreman.
• Clean, sanitize, and inspect equipment before and after runs.
• Assist with training new/current employees on equipment.
