Job summary

Hologic, Inc. in New Hampshire is hiring a Machine Operator 2 to operate production equipment and meet quality and quantity requirements.

The role focuses on reliable operation, adherence to SOPs, GMPs, and safety rules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Expect to perform routine data entry for lot and quality records, assist with preventive maintenance, support material handling, and ensure proper material segregation and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and operate according to procedures.
• Provide details on equipment failure symptoms as required.
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance activities following SOPs.
• Support material handling as necessary.
• Maintain proper segregation of materials and lot/receiving numbers.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Comply with PPE, SOPs, GMPs and Quality System Regulations.
• Perform data entry for lot records and quality control records.
• Collect in-process samples during production runs.
• Perform other duties, including Operator 1 roles.

What to Expect

The Machine Operator 2 will operate production equipment to meet production quality and quantity requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the responsibilities listed below, as reasonably required by business needs.

• Monitor equipment functions and operate equipment according to documented procedures.
• Provide technicians with details regarding equipment failure symptoms, as required.
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities by following established procedures.
• Support material handling activities as necessary.
• Maintain proper segregation of materials and lot/receiving numbers.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Comply with all company policies, including safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Quality System Regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform data entry related to lot records and quality control records, as required.
• Collect in-process samples for testing during production runs, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including Operator 1 roles and responsibilities.

Compensation

The annualized base salary range for this role is $39,800 to $58,900 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will depend on factors including relevant experience, skill set, knowledge, geographic location, education, business needs, and market demand.
