Job summary

Crystal Finishing Systems, Inc. in Senatobia, MS is seeking a Full Time Fabrication Operator to run punch presses, milling machines and saws, producing material to order.

You will use hand tools and precision measuring devices, follow quality procedures, maintain equipment, and document time and outputs in our system. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on site in a team environment. We offer medical, dental and vision plans, a 401(k) plan and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Ability to read, count, perform simple math and accurately measure.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Understands fabrication prints, blueprints, tolerances.
• Able to read gauge tables, tape measure, calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machines (punch press, milling, saws) to produce material per orders.
• Operate small hand tools and measuring equipment (wrenches, calipers, micrometers).
• Maintain equipment and perform operator maintenance.
• Follow quality procedures and complete QA paperwork; record time in the system.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate different fabrication machines including punch press, milling machine, saws, and secondary equipment as needed to produce material according to customer’s orders.
• Operates small hand tools and measuring equipment including, but not limited to wrenches, screwdrivers, saws, drills, air tools, gage tables, tape measure, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ensures proper maintenance is done on equipment and performs the operator maintenance that is within their job responsibilities and qualifications/training.
• Ensure all quality procedures and processes are being followed and complete. To include necessary quality assurance paperwork and records time spent on each job in specified computer system, verifying counts are accurate.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications: WHO YOU ARE

• Knowledge of machine operating procedures that are normally acquired through a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position.
• Ability to read, count, perform simple math equations and accurately measure is required.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Understands fabrication and process prints, including but not limited to blueprints and tolerances.
• Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Must be able read gauge tables, tape measure, calipers or other assigned measuring tools.
