Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Monroe, WI, is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift. You will set parts against stops, inspect, measure with tools, deburr, and weld as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Structured training or relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to reason and problem-solve as it pertains to position.
• Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Position work pieces against stops or align layout marks with the die or blade.
• Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects and machine malfunction.
• Measure workpiece dimensions with the necessary tools.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from work pieces.
• Spot weld workpieces.
