Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe, WI, part of the Aebi Schmidt Group, is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run equipment, position parts, and monitor quality on the shop floor.

You will use stops and layout marks to align pieces and ensure smooth production. Candidates should have basic math, reading/writing skills, and the ability to learn manufacturing software. On-site role with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Structured training or relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to reason and problem-solve as it pertains to position.
• Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Position work pieces against stops or align layout marks with the die or blade.
• Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects and machine malfunction.
• Measure workpiece dimensions with the necessary tools.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from work pieces.
• Spot weld workpieces.
