About the Opportunity:

Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay Rate Range: $18/Hour

Location: Forest Lake, MN

Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7:30AM-3:30PM

Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
2. Previous production experience required
3. Ability to operate manual and automatic work centers, maintain cycle, count and report production and scrap
4. Basic understanding of scales, measuring equipment, and injection molding presses; ability to read prints; completion of Paulson Molding Fundamentals 1 & 2
5. Commitment to safety, ability to work independently, and respond to product quality changes
6. Physical requirements include walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds
7. Correctable eyesight and good depth perception required
8. Dexterity with hands and ability to prioritize tasks

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the team to produce quality products on time
2. Follow processes and instructions to meet customer expectations
3. Make decisions about part acceptance and operate work centers
4. Count and label products accurately
5. Document information properly and inspect parts as instructed
6. Provide suggestions for process improvements
7. Recognize and react to quality and equipment issues, and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
8. Follow safety and cleanliness protocols
9. Perform other duties as assigned
