Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. in Farmington, CT is seeking a heat-treat operator for 1st or 2nd shift. You will operate machines, inspect parts for quality, and maintain production records. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and basic handling of heavy parts.

We offer hourly pay of $20.50 on 1st shift and $22.50 on 2nd shift, plus 15 days of PTO in year 1 after permanent hire, strong benefits and a 401K plan, and opportunities to cross-train and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines in the heat-treat department.
• Inspect parts off machinery to ensure quality standards.
• Stop machines when parts do not meet requirements.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Perform basic machine maintenance functions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating machines in the heat treat department.
• Working to quality specifications may inspect parts off machinery to insure parts are running to quality standards
• Responsible for stopping the machine when parts do not meet requirements.
• Maintains production records and quality records.
• Performs basic machine maintenance functions

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• manual dexterity for precision machine work.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds from a low to higher position.

Schedule:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
