Job summary

L&M Corrugated Container is seeking a dependable Machine Operator for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM). Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. You will operate and monitor production machinery, set up jobs, and ensure corrugated products meet quality standards and customer expectations while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging industry is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and operate multiple types of production equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, production schematics, and detailed instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery.
• Perform accurate and efficient machine setups and changeovers.
• Run materials through machines according to production specifications.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
• Identify and report equipment issues or defective materials.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Complete work orders based on production needs.
