Job summary

Unique Industries is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in the Assembly Department in Virginia. The role focuses on operating and monitoring production machinery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Changes labels or wrapper film as needed.
• Accurately completes required paperwork and cycle counts.
• Maintains professional conduct and constructive working relationships.

About Our Opportunity

Machine Operator position on 1st shift in the Assembly Department.

PRIMARY DUTY

Effectively operates and monitors machines in production department.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Starts, stops, and clears jams from the equipment.
• Changes labels or wrapper film as needed.
• Accurately completes required paperwork and cycle counts.
• Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
• A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Ability to work as a team leader.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast paced distribution environment.

Pay

• We offer competitive pay based on job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training, and geographic location.
• The starting hourly pay rate is $14.50.
• Actual pay will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s compensation guidelines, and business needs.
