Job summary

Insteel Industries, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift (6am–2pm) in Hazle Township, PA. This role involves operating manufacturing equipment and applying basic mechanical and analytical skills to identify stalls or jams.

You will work safely with PPE, document production data, and collaborate with team members. A high school diploma and basic arithmetic are required, with training provided to advance to operating different machines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and read instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and learn to run manufacturing machines.
• Perform equipment inspections and basic repairs.
• Document production data on tally sheets and in computer.
• Follow PPE guidelines and maintain safety.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Work in a team environment and support others.
