Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Ocala, FL is seeking a dependable production operator to safely run the line, read production orders, and help the team meet customer and company goals in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role requires a minimum of two years in production or shipping, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and willingness to work outdoors in hot, cold, rain or shine. A path to Operator II/III and participation in a safety‑driven culture are part of the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years production and/or shipping experience.
• Read and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets as required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Follow all work instructions, safety guidelines and procedures.
• Operate equipment and participate in problem solving and continuous improvement.

JOB DETAILS

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates machine and instructs line help to safely meet production, customer, and company goals and requirements
• Support company Core Values, participate in Safe Work environment, and completes observations
• Read and understand a production order

• Meet company and customer quality requirements

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years production and/or shipping experience, preferably in the metals/materials industry
• Execute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group Leader
• Immediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns
• Follow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work procedures
• Training other team members as assigned
• Participate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assigned
• Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts
• Read and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets as required
• Perform basic preventative equipment maintenance as assigned
• Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictate
• Ability to lift up to 40pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
