Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Ocala, FL is seeking a Production Operator to operate machinery, follow production orders, and maintain safety and quality across shifts.

Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years in production/shipping, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and work in varying outdoor conditions. Benefits include day‑1 healthcare, PTO, 401k, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years production and/or shipping experience
• Execute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group Leader
• Immediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns
• Follow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work procedures
• Training other team members as assigned
• Participate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assigned
• Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts
• Read and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets as required
• Perform basic preventative equipment maintenance as assigned
• Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictate
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm - Monday - Friday

• Use forklift, crane, and manual handling of materials, complete proper documentation for materials produced
• Good communication with Team, Supervisor, and Management
• Maintain promotability to Operator II and Operator III
• Standing and walking 8 to 12 hourseveryday
• Varying and extreme working conditions outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years production and/or shipping experience, preferably in the metals/materials industry
• Execute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group Leader
• Immediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns
• Follow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work procedures
• Training other team members as assigned
• Participate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assigned
