Job summary

Eaton's Beltsville, MD manufacturing facility is seeking a Machine Operator - 1st Shift. You will set up seal machines, read process sheets, and measure parts to ensure specifications. Responsibilities include SPC documentation, lean/5S activities, and maintaining logs for production flow.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. This is an on-site position with a 7 am–3 pm schedule in Beltsville, MD.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and pass security checks.

Responsibilities

  • Set up the seal machines in the cell, adding tooling as required.
  • Process parts through machining according to blueprints and process sheets.
  • Measure seals with micrometers, pi tape, gauges and verniers to verify dimensions.
  • Document and control dimensions using SPC and maintain production logs.
  • Participate in lean and 5S+ activities and follow safety procedures.

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 1st Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD!The core hours are 7 am - 3 pm, Monday - Friday.The hourly rate for this position is $20.50 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
