Job summary

Corlett Turner Inc in Zeeland, MI is seeking a CNC Machinist/Operator to set up and run CNC machines, read blueprints, and verify parts against specifications.

The job offers 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM or 2nd shift 3:00 PM - 11:15 PM, with training provided and benefits after 90 days (medical, dental, vision, vacation, 401K, life insurance).

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications.
• Ability to use measurement devices to verify part dimensions.
• Willingness to train and learn tooling changes and machine programming.

Pay Range: $17 - $25/hr

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM

Summary: Requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications, or equivalent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

Operates and adjusts multiple semi-automatic or automatic numerically control machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided and setups are often made and maintained by others

Knowledge of operations including drilling, boring, and milling, turning, etc.

Recognizes tooling and procedures where tolerances are close, but not difficult to maintain

Check parts for conformance to specifications

Ability to use measurement devices

Ability to change tools, manipulate machine program
