Job summary

Leeco Steel is seeking a Crane Operator, Kinetic, Oxy Fuel and Parts Cleaners for its Oshkosh, WI location. The role involves receiving orders, loading and distributing steel using an overhead crane, verifying locations and directing movement to staging areas.

Typical shifts are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday respectively. Ideal candidates have crane experience and a dependable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a steel distribution environment is preferred.
• Experience operating an overhead crane is ideal.
• Strong teamwork, planning and organizational skills.
• Dependable and capable of maintaining accurate records and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders, loads and process steel distribution using an overhead crane.
• Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location inventory.
• Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
• Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
• Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Maintains safety standards.

Leeco Steel is a leading supplier of steel plate from the premier mills worldwide. Due to our continued growth we are seeking an additional Crane Operator, Kinetic, Oxy Fuel and Parts Cleaners for our Oshkosh, WI location. Previous experience with operating an overhead crane would be ideal. This is for 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Job Purpose
